30-Day Return Policy
We want every item you purchase from Kimi Lighting to be the perfect match for your home. If it’s not quite right, don’t worry — we’re here to help. Please contact us first at sales@kimi-lighting.com before initiating a return.
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or store credit, provided the items are in new, unused condition and returned in their original packaging.
⚠️ Please note:
- Items that have been installed are not eligible for return.
- Customized or made-to-order items are non-refundable.
Return Conditions
- Items must be unused and in original, resalable condition.
- All parts, accessories, and packaging materials must be included.
- Returns due to manufacturer defects are eligible for a full refund.
- Returns for other reasons require the customer to cover return shipping costs.
- Items returned damaged, used, or without original packaging may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.
Return Instructions
1. Submit Your Return Request
- Reply to your order confirmation email.
- Indicate the item(s) you wish to return and the reason for return.
- Let us know if you’d prefer a refund, store credit, or a replacement.
- We will provide the appropriate return address after reviewing your request.
2. Repackage the Item
- Ensure all items are in the original packaging with protective materials.
- Seal the package securely to avoid damage during shipping.
3. Ship the Item
- Take photos of the inside and outside of the package before shipping.
- Use a traceable and insured carrier (shipping cost is your responsibility).
- Send the tracking number and shipping receipt to sales@kimi-lighting.com.
Refund Process
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we will issue a refund within 7–10 business days.
- Refund timelines:
- Credit cards: 3–5 business days (depending on your bank).
- Store credit or gift card: 1 business day.
- Other methods: up to 2 weeks.
- If the item is damaged or used, we may deduct a restocking fee or decline the refund.
Defective Items
If your product arrives with a manufacturer defect:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery.
- Send clear photos and videos for inspection.
- Once verified, we will provide a full refund or arrange a replacement.
Order Cancellations
- Standard (non-customized) orders may be canceled for free within 24 hours of purchase.
- After 24 hours, orders can only be canceled if not yet shipped.
- Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled.
- Customized or made-to-order items are non-cancellable.
Non-Returnable Items
The following orders are not eligible for return, cancellation, or refund:
- Customized products
- “Made to Order” labeled items
- Special purchases or custom quotes
- Complimentary bulbs or other free gifts included with the order
💡 Please note that light bulbs included with your order are complimentary and not covered under our return, exchange, or refund policy. If you prefer a different color temperature or brightness, we’re happy to recommend alternative bulbs for your space.
